The Municipality of Loiano hosted the inaugural public workshop dedicated to rolling out the Renewable Energy Community (REC) across the Union of Municipalities of the Bolognese Apennines.
The gathering offered a platform for direct exchange with citizens, local businesses, and territorial organizations, presenting the practical benefits of the REC framework while opening channels for citizen engagement. The session advanced key preliminary work toward establishing a local One-Stop Shop designed to deliver continuous administrative and technical guidance for community energy initiatives.
The initiative is part of the operational roadmap deployed in Italy by AESS alongside Legacoop Emilia-Romagna and Innovacoop, under the framework of the European Union’s LIFE Programme managed by CINEA.
