Driving community engagement in renewable energy transitions relies on practical awareness-raising and direct exposure to operational clean energy assets.
As part of the initiatives supported under the Encom-Hub project, the citizen collective Energie Citoyenne Piémont Bruche hosted a public solar tour at the Ferme Saint Blaise. The visit offered local participants firsthand insight into the farm shop’s 800 m² rooftop photovoltaic installation, guided by its owner, Maurice Meyer. The event served as an open forum for the collective to present its operational roadmap: mobilizing citizen investments into rooftop solar infrastructure to accelerate regional decarbonization while establishing democratic, community-led governance frameworks.
This milestone demonstrates the practical value of grassroots mobilization fostered by Encom-Hub to empower citizens as active stakeholders in local renewable energy development.
